APRD 4405 - Advertising Capstone

Course Description:
Strategic Communications campaigns is the APRD capstone course. This course will give you the opportunity to bring together the skills and knowledge you have gained through your time at CU to create a multimedia campaign for an actual client. You will work together in teams to conduct research, develop strategy and produce a client pitch.
Learning Outcomes
  • Understand the process of taking a client brief and turning that into a creative idea and campaign
  • Appreciate the scope of work required to deliver brilliant ideas that will build a client’s business
  • Understand key theoretical approaches to what drives brand growth and advertising success.

Course Objectives:

  • Be immersed in a competitive agency business pitch.

  • Gain the skills of operating as a communications agency team. Gain hands-on industry experience and create strong work for a professional portfolio.
